WE NEED YOU!  We are thankful for our current PTO board & members for always giving us their time and dedication to supporting our school.  As we wrap up the current school year, we are inviting all our community to serve in our HHS PTO for the next school year. Together we can make changes that can impact our school especially our teachers/staff and our students. We have a number of roles available, both big and small.

Please nominate yourself or someone who is willing and fitting. Deadline to submit is April 5th. The nomination slate will be voted on by our PTO members in our April 16 PTO General meeting.

The deadline to purchase Bash tickets is April 8th OR until they sell out, whichever happens first. Purchase yours now before they are gone.!  

General admission is only $35 and includes entry to the auction, two drinks, dinner from Triola’s Kitchen, late night snacks from La Mex, and a GOOD TIME!  While you are there, consider buying one or more tickets for staff members too!  

You can also help by becoming a sponsor. Sponsorships start at $250 and come with tickets to the Bash.  Thank you to those who have already purchased sponsorships!  The deadline for sponsors to receive recognition in print materials has been extended to TOMORROW, April 3.  

And most importantly–spread the word!  Share our Facebook event and invite your friends.  

Why support Bulldog Bash?  Your support helps the PTO support many initiatives at Heights High School that are not funded by the district.  See our PTO Facebook page for features of some endeavors the PTO has helped with over the past school year..  But more than anything, it is an opportunity for parents, staff, alumni, and community members to come together and celebrate the Heights High School community.

We have lots of several openings for volunteers in April.  Let’s finish the year strong!We need your help!

Did you miss the senior parents social at Crust?  Here’s all the FAQs you need to know!

Class of 2024 graduation will be Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 12pm (barring any changes from the district!).  Mr. Montanez will share more details as they are received.  

Cap and Gown pickup will be Tuesday April 16th at school.

The Senior Panoramic picture will be taken on Wednesday April 17th at school. Seniors will come to school with their gowns only - please leave the cap and tassel at home. The picture is included in dues. 

Prom will be Saturday April 27th at the JW Marriott near the Galleria. Ticket pickup information will be coming soon.

The Annual Awards ceremony will be Tuesday, May 21st in the school auditorium.

The annual Powder Puff football game will be after school on Friday, May 24th on the school fields.

From the College Center:  FAFSA INFORMATION!!  Do not submit a paper FAFSA form. 

Submitting a paper form is not recommended by colleges. It will make the process even more difficult. We receive updates from colleges daily that ask us to make sure students are only submitting online. I know there is so much information going around, so it’s confusing. This FAFSA issue has been the biggest headache. But we are not giving up and guarantee that ALL students eligible for the FAFSA will get it submitted. Also, the Texas priority deadline was moved to April 15th.  We have ways to help students that have glitch issues. Since spring break, there have been many updates to all the problems. Please remind the students and parents to check with the College Center if they need help. Heights is planning one more evening workshop before 4/15.
