Thank you to Ms. Martinez for organizing our 3rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Night. We had great performances from our Mariachi de Los Altos, The Academy Dance Crew, Alyssa Villareal and Zapata Ballet Folklorico.  A special thank you to Ms. Abigail Paredes from Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc., Aaron Azios from Student Voter Initiative and Eduardo Elizondo from HISD FACE.  Many thanks to our own Ms. Tonche, Mr. Pruneda, Ivan Ojeda, Celsea Martinez and Ms. Schumacher.

Thank you to Ms. Schumacher, Heights2college and our parent volunteers for hosting our college visitors on campus. HHS Library is in need of volunteers in the morning through the month of October. The shift is from 7:45-10:30.

For those of you with Bulldog grads at college, don’t forget that they can apply to vote by mail or vote early if they are home during the early voting period (October 21-November 1).  Applications to vote by mail must be received (not postmarked) by October 25.

Everyone ran such great times and almost everyone PR’D! All four of our divisions placed top three with our varsity teams qualifying for regionals!
